Thanks to all who participated in this special tribute to our armed forces who served in the Vietnam War.

On April 29 & 30th, 2017 the Englewood Area Historical Museum was proud to host a Vietnam War STATIC SCENE on the grounds of the museum at Buchan Airport. 

These men tented with their tactical packs, told stories and answered visitors' questions. Artifacts and memorabilia were on display. 

Free photos of Veterans were taken beside a 50th Anniversary Commemorative Flag and they also received their Commemorative Pins.

A tent was set up, similar to the type of tent which in a field at Buchan Airport in Englewood as a part of remembering and honoring the 50th anniversary of Vietnam.

Art participated in the memory of Mike Bowen, a high school football player who was killed on the first day of the Tet Offensive. Bowen was awarded a Silver Star for his actions.
